Theatre provides students the platform to see things from a different perspective. It also helps them to develop creative problem-solving skills by providing them challenging opportunities. Theatre fosters collaboration, communication, teamwork and creative expression.
Based on the Trinity curriculum, the classes are modeled to improve their presentation, communication and creativity helping them to express themselves in public speaking, debating and group discussion.
The drama sessions at Chettinad Vidya Mandir are facilitated by trainers from Crea-Shakthi who are certified by the Trinity College, London.
Students of grade 6 to 8 get the opportunity to be a part of the theatre classes every Wednesday and Thursday and they visit Chennai to complete their Trinity examination.
