Kalam’s World Record
Master V.Vishnu Dharshan of grade VIII created a New Group World Record by performing Brain Gym Exercises. This has been recorded in “Kalam’s World Record”.
Athletic Meet in Coimbatore
Kongu Sahodaya School Complex conducted an Athletic Meet in Coimbatore. P.Arathana of Grade IX won the Gold medal in 100m, 400m and long jump. K.S. Iniyaa of Grade VII won the silver medal in the 100m and long jump.
Athletic Meet at Kovai Sahodaya
Students participated in the Athletic Meet at Kovai Sahodaya. Arathana of Grade IX won the Gold medal in 400mts & 80mts hurdles, Bronze in long jump and the Individual Championship.
Dharshana of Grade IX won bronze in the long jump event and bagged the 4th place in 100mts.
K.S.Iniyaa of Grade VII won silver in 100mts, gold in 200mts. The Under-14 girls relay team won the silver medal.
International Year of Periodic Table
Students of grade XI participated in the Tamil Nadu state level IYPT (International year of Periodic Table) held at NGP CBSE school in Coimbatore in which S. Dhanush and V. S. Sankara Narayanan secured the second place in the event.
S.Nithun Selva and A.Dev Mugundhan emerged as finalists and were placed IVth.
Vishvinth Rajan and N.K.Rishwanth participated in Innovative Depiction of the Periodic Table.
G. Sudheksha and Kingsley Callex recited the 118 elements from the Periodic Table in 52 secs and 56 secs respectively.
Chess Tournament
Anand Chess Academy conducted the District Level Children’s Tournament & Open Tournament in which Manoj Narasimman of Grade-III-Magadha, secured the 1st place.

Rifle Championship
Master Praveen Kanna of Grade-VIII won the second place in the National Level Rifle Championship, organized by Air Gun Association of India at Aurangabad.

CCA – External Competition
P. Ilamaran of Grade-III-Magadha won prize in the Art Competition conducted by ஐந்தினை இயற்கை நல் வாழ்வியல் ஆராய்ச்சி மையம்.
S. Sana of Grade-III-Magadha won First prize in Mega District Level Dance Competition conducted by Vanna Siruagukal.
Kho-Kho
A.K.R. Academy conducted Kho-Kho tournaments. CVM, under-17 category emerged as the runners. Ms. Rasika of Grade XI was awarded as the Best Chaser and Ms. Kirubha of Grade XI was awarded as the Best Defender.
CVM – A Supernova in Soccer
The Sahodhaya Complex, Coimbatore, organized a football tournament. The C.V.M. soccer team (under-17 category) was a megahit. Rajnishanthan of grade XI was selected as the best player of the match.
Chess Competition
Kovai Sahodhaya Complex conducted a Chess Competition in Coimbatore. Students of CVM emerged as winners under various categories.Under-12 Category- Swarnashri. K. P won I place and Arjun. P won III place, Under-14 category- Angelin Mercy. S, II place Under-17 category- Madheshwaran. G. U, III place.
State-level Competition
Sera Dileep, grade – IV Ramayanam bagged a gold medal in Social Science Olympiad and secured the 50th rank in State-level competition. Joshnaa.K of grade – IV Ramayanam took part in second level English Olympiad and secured 49th rank in the State-level competition.
Story Telling: Reflection of Wisdom and Knowledge
Students of K.G. narrated stories. They comprised of Myths, Fairy Tales, Trickster Stories, Fables, Ghost Tales, Stories on heroism, and Epic Adventures. The best narrators were awarded with certificates and Medals.
Karate “Empty Hands” from Okinawan Islands
Mr. Kannan, Karate Master conducted an exam for White Belt. Children received certificates.
