World-level drawing competition

With great pleasure, we announce that U. Vibulan Aditya, a fifth-grader, has won a world-level drawing competition. He won in the final round after completing three stages of the competition, which was announced in October. There were about 490 participants, ranging in age from 5 to 60. Fifteen members were chosen. His drawing is on display in the Palani Murugan Temple, and we are really proud of him.

Zonal Swimming Competition

Our Young Champs Make Us Proud!

Vriksha Global School, Tiruchengode, hosted the Zonal Swimming Competition, bringing together participants from 15 schools and various clubs. Chettinad Vidya Mandir entered 18 learners from Grades 4 to 12, who delivered outstanding performances amidst tough competition.

Our swimmers secured an impressive tally of 2 gold medals, 5 silver medals, and 21 bronze medals, showcasing their dedication and skill. This event was a valuable learning experience that fostered personal growth, teamwork, and the spirit of sportsmanship among our learners.

6th Tamilnadu State Aeroskatoball Championship 2024

We are excited to announce that Arunmaruthan of Grade 7 has made us proud by winning a Bronze medal in the 6th Tamilnadu State Aeroskatoball Championship 2024! The championship, held in Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu, saw Arunmaruthan competing in the Under-17 category. His remarkable performance not only earned him the bronze medal but also secured his place in the National Championship! Chettinad Vidya Mandir students shined at the Kovai Sahodaya Interschool Swimming Competition, hosted by PA International School in Pollachi, which saw participation from 11 schools across different regions.

The 26 participants from our school, ranging from grades 4 to 12, made us proud by winning 6 gold medals, 8 silver medals, and 14 bronze medals.

This event was a valuable learning opportunity, fostering teamwork and sportsmanship among our students.

Arunmaruthan, a Grade 7 student, has been passionately practicing skating for the past year, excelling in Fancy Inline Speed Skating. In addition to speed skating, he also enjoys Bandy (Ice Skating) and Roll Ball Skating. Arunmaruthan has showcased his skills at various competitions, including Karur District level (U14 category) – Tamilnadu State level (U14 category), and National level (U14 category).

His achievements include  2 Gold medals in Karur District level speed skating competitions and 1 Gold medal in State level Bandy competition. Arunmaruthan’s dedication and talent have earned him recognition in the skating community, and we wish him continued success in his future endeavors.

Nithin of grade XI has been training as a 10M and 50M Rifle Shooter for the past three years. He completed in sub youth, youth, and the juniors category and won a gold medal in the juniors men’s team event and a silver medal in the juniors men’s individual category in 50M Prone. These achievements have qualified him to represent the Tamil Nadu State in the National category this year.

Achievements 2023-2024

Inter school creative writing competition CVM

Kovai Sahodaya School Complex conducted an Inter school creative writing competition for students at various levels which was hosted by Geedee Public School, Coimbatore. Students took up prelims at the school level and  six students from different levels were selected and they attended the final level of competition. The topics which were given to category A is if animals were able to talk what would they talk, for category B, Let me tell you the things that I am proud of myself and for category C, what would you feel when you look at the mirror. In Category B, V. Mithra of grade 7 has got the second place and T. Padmasani of grade 12 has secured second place. It is really wonderful for us to witness this achievement.
