My 13 years at CVM have been a memorable experience. My entire journey has been filled with opportunities and the school has prepared me to face the challenges of the world. CVM has always believed in making learning a joyful experience. The teachers are our guides and mentors. They have given us the space to work comfortably and confidently ensuring that learning happens efficiently. The freedom given to us at school helps us socialize and form healthy relationships with our student community. CVM has never been a typical school….it’s beyond that……it’s a family….. And I am really glad to be a part of The CVM Family.
These are challenging times and the Corona virus has thrown things out of gear. CVM has continued to keep the children active and engaged during the lockdown with the virtual classrooms, worksheets, online story books and fun riddles. Teachers have done a wonderful job keeping the kids' emotional health in place too. The kids are being educated on the pandemic with the amazing videos posted by them on the CVM Facebook page. Thanks once again to the parents, teachers and especially our Principal for being an amazing encouragement and support. I am happy to be part of the CVM family. Stay home. Stay safe.
Chettinad Vidya Mandir is a great school to learn from and become a better person and an effective teacher. I have not only enjoyed teaching the students but have also learnt a lot from them. The care and the trust that the management has placed on us has encouraged us to challenge ourselves to become better teachers. The dedicated team of faculty work collaboratively to instill core values in every child. The school is also a perfect place for the students to understand that their voices do matter. The green environment and the confident children makes our everyday cheerful and exciting.
Chettinad Vidya Mandir is a very good platform to showcase our talents and to focus on our skills. The support I have received from Principal, teachers and friends has been immense. The atmosphere at CVM keeps me pleasant and has helped me achieve my goals. The very infrastructure and campus of CVM encourages us to learn new things every day. I will always be obliged to CVM for teaching me, guiding me to choose the right career , engaging me in extra-curricular activities, and for all the good things which are going to set me for a prosperous life!!

It has been three years now since I started my CVM journey. During these years, I have explored the teaching world adding, updating and creating new skills and talents. I have learnt to manage time, muster my confidence and work on my shortcomings. The school atmosphere has encouraged me to read more and update my knowledge. It has also provided me the platform to be a part of many workshops and courses. The school has also encouraged me to exhibit my finger artwork on the event board and has been very appreciative of my talent.
We thank the management, Principal, the entire faculty, especially the class teachers of CVM for guiding the students during these challenging times by way of online classes. This ensured a smooth and enjoyable learning experience. Pranav has been really excited to attend the online classes as they were a welcome value addition to his learning. We look forward to more such initiatives from the school.

My son enjoys coming to school, learning new topics and going on exciting trips. My experience with the school has been very good. As a parent I have found the teachers to be very friendly and approachable. They are very good at nurturing and developing the child's academic as well as social skills and productive play. I also want to acknowledge the Principal’s ability to address concerns and problems. I feel that my child is receiving the necessary skills and I am pleased with the progress he has made so far.
CVM fosters creativity, innovation, practical knowledge and healthy habits for the holistic development of the students. The online classes, which began in March were planned effectively and the teachers were available for them at any time to answer their queries. Slip tests not only assessed their academic skills but tested their honesty. They were engaged in project work before the start of the online classes. Best wishes to the Management, Principal and teachers for their efforts in engaging students with productive work during this lockdown period.

I am Bhuvaneswari, grade 1 homeroom teacher. Initially I had difficulty doing the virtual classes but my colleagues helped me. I created placards with classroom rules to hold up. Children became more interactive. They shared their answers in the chat box. Some were given chances to speak. I prepared puppets to narrate the story. This helped them connect with me. They could do actions based on my instructions. I had presentations, videos and flash cards in my classes. I started my class with an energizer and ended with a riddle on the topic. I was worried if I could reach out to grade 1 online, but all the positive feedback has put my fears aside.
