Digital Learning and Information Literacy- National Library Week

Chettinad Vidya Mandir celebrated National Library Week (November 14–20) with an online session on “Digital Learning and Information Literacy” by Ms. Helan Kavitha Amuthan, Librarian and Metadata Specialist from the Italian International School, Abu Dhabi.

The event began with a welcome address by Mr. Kalimuthukumaran, Librarian, CVM High School.

Ms. Helan discussed key topics such as responsible use of the internet, accessing digital resources, evaluating information, difference between authors and experts, online collaboration, and flexible learning opportunities.

As part of the celebration, the Outstanding Readers of CVM 2025 were announced and appreciated by Ms. P. Vijayalakshmi, Principal, and Ms. Padma Priya, Vice Principal.

The session concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Ms. Preethi, Primary Librarian.
