World Environment Day – Seed Ball Distribution Initiative

On the occasion of World Environment Day, the learners and acharyas of Chettinad Vidya Mandir actively participated in a seed ball distribution drive at three prominent locations – Sungagate, Lighthouse Corner, and Church Corner.

The initiative was carried out with the noble intention of promoting environmental conservation and creating awareness about the importance of trees in sustaining life. Guided by the message “Maram Valarppom, Mazhai Peruvom” (Let us grow trees and receive abundant rainfall), our learners became ambassadors of a greener future by encouraging the community to nurture nature.

The success of this initiative was made possible with the wholehearted support and cooperation of the police personnel, who assisted in coordinating and facilitating the distribution activities at all three locations. Their encouragement and assistance helped ensure the smooth and effective execution of the programme.

This meaningful effort reflects our commitment to environmental responsibility and our belief that small actions today can create a sustainable tomorrow.
