Face to Faith by The Tony Blair Faith Foundation is an international school program that brings together 12 – 17 year olds from over 28 countries to discuss global issues and concerns. The program features video conferences where students discuss global issues from the perspectives of their faith and beliefs. Chettinad Vidya Mandir has been engaging actively in this program since 2011 by participating in various global campaigns and international events like the World Peace Day and Human Rights Day. The school was the recipient of the ‘GOLD AWARD’ in recognition of its committed and sustained efforts towards Peace Education.

Students of grades IX to XI participated in a video conference with the students of Cambridge School- Indirapuram Branch, Darbari Lal DAV Model School-Pitampura and Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu on “Human Rights“ and “Freedom of Belief“.

Video Conference – Climate Change

Grade XI participated in a Video Conference on “Climate Change” conducted at school as an extension of their topic for Global Citizenship. The interaction with the students of Ukraine and Germany helped the students understand effect of climate change in the global scenario.

Video Conference – Education for Global Citizenship

Students of grade X attended a Video Conference on the topic “Education for Global Citizenship”. Students from Ukraine, Germany and Delhi participated in the same.

Students of grade XI interacted with the students of Ukraine on the topic “Festivals“. The session helped them to appreciate the significance of the festivals and understand how festivals were celebrated in each country.
