Buddy Learning 2025 at CVM
04 Nov 2025

PP1,PP2 AND GRADE-IV Buddy Learning: Mindfulness in Motion. Learning is rooted in connection and care. Our Buddy Learning Program brings together older and younger learners to explore, guide, and grow through shared experiences that nurture both heart and mind. In this engaging session, our Grade 4 buddies led their younger peers through a refreshing stretching warm-up to prepare for a calm and creative Nature Walk. The elder buddies demonstrated gentle stretches — reaching high, bending softly, and rolling shoulders — helping their younger friends awaken their bodies and focus their minds. The buddies invited everyone to imagine being part of nature through mindful movements and creative expression: “A tall tree – stretch your hands high.”   “A bird – flap your wings softly.” “A flower – open your arms like petals.”  The gentle flow of actions helped them experience calmness and joy while connecting imagination with mindfulness. To wrap up, buddies gathered in a short reflection and sharing circle, where learners spoke about how they felt during the activity. Many shared feelings of peace, relaxation, and happiness in learning and leading together. This meaningful closure reflected the essence of Buddy Learning — fostering empathy, awareness, and connection through shared experiences that nurture both heart and mind.

Discovering The Journey Of A Letter
07 Nov 2024

Field trips offer valuable learning experiences outside the conventional classroom setting. We take our young learners to places relevant to their studies to get practical knowledge by observing and learning in real-world situations. Our PP2 learners began their tour to the post office at the post box, where they posted a letter and saw the postman pick it up. Next, they tracked the letter’s path through the post office, seeing how it was sorted, sealed, and classified according to its destination. Apart from learning about the journey of a letter, our young ones also recognised the importance of the role our community workers play in our daily lives.
